Paws for a Cause Vet Care, formerly Spay Illinois, is Now a Full-Service Clinic

Cat vet exam at Paws for Cause Vet Care in Illinois

Our Chief Executive Officer, Kathi, and our Medical Director, Dr. Stacy, are thrilled to announce that Paws for a Cause Vet Care, formerly known as Spay Illinois, is now a full-service veterinary clinic!

This means we now offer comprehensive care, including preventive services, diagnostics, surgery, dental care and more, all under one roof. You no longer need to visit multiple locations for different pet needs. We can handle everything here, with a team that already knows and loves your pet

One of the biggest changes our clients can expect from us, is the expansion of our wellness services. By expanding our wellness offerings, we can partner with you more effectively to prevent illness, detect issues early, and ensure your furry family members stay healthy and happy for years to come.

Our clinic has also launched an Advanced Surgery Department. This new addition allows us to provide a wider range of specialized procedures with the highest standards of care, using the latest in surgical technology and techniques.

We now proudly offer the following services:

Soft tissue surgery

  • Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome Surgery (nares widening, shortening elongated soft palates)
  • Mass removals
  • Enucleation
  • Entropion correction surgery
  • Cystotomy (bladder stone removal)
  • Abdominal exploratory surgery

Orthopedic surgery

The last major change we are excited to announce, is the expansion of breeds we can now provide surgical services for. Brachycephalics and higher risk patients such as pets with cardiac disease or seizures, can now receive anesthetic procedures at our facility. Our doctors have worked diligently on enhanced protocols to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery. Our surgical teams are also trained and equipped to safely perform procedures tailored to the unique needs of these pets. Some restrictions do remain but as we continue to grow, we hope to remove these as well. Rest assured that when your pet is in our care, we will treat them like one of our own.

As our clinic grows to include advanced surgical procedures and a wider range of veterinary services, we’ve updated our brand to better represent the full scope of care we offer. Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting us for the first time, we are here to help you and your pets.
