Paws for a Cause Vet Care is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization to expand our dental care services for senior dogs, both in the community and in local animal shelters.

Dental disease is one of the most common yet overlooked health issues facing senior dogs. Without proper treatment, it can lead to chronic pain, infections, difficulty eating, and even serious complications affecting the heart, liver, and kidneys. Unfortunately, dental procedures can be costly, and many senior pets, especially those in shelters, go without the care they need.
With the support of The Grey Muzzle Organization, Paws for a Cause Vet Care will provide free or low-cost dental cleanings, exams, and extractions to senior dogs whose families are struggling financially, as well as those waiting in shelters for their forever homes. Our goal is to reduce suffering, prevent advanced disease, and help these deserving dogs live longer, healthier lives.
“This generous grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization is truly life-changing, opening the door for senior dogs to receive the vital dental care they need to live their golden years pain-free, comfortable, and full of joy,” says Kathi Daniels, Chief Executive Officer of Paws for a Cause Vet Care. “Dental disease is one of the most overlooked yet impactful health issues in aging pets, and thanks to this support, we can help give these beloved companions the happy, healthy retirement they so deserve.”
By supporting both owned and shelter senior dogs, we are not only improving quality of life, we are also helping make senior dogs more adoptable by addressing one of their most pressing medical needs.
We are incredibly grateful to The Grey Muzzle Organization for their commitment to senior pet health and for partnering with us to make a lasting impact.
