Paws for A Cause Vet Care is a nonprofit veterinary clinic on a mission to remove financial barriers to veterinary care by making it accessible and affordable for everyone. Located in Naperville, Illinois, we operate a 16,000-square-foot full-service veterinary clinic.
We believe people love their pets and want the best for them. With this mindset, we serve our community non-judgmentally and respectfully.
We have 7 Full-Time veterinarians on staff and are looking to add to our talented team.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
High-volume spay and Neuter Veterinarian (Full-Time or Part-time)
Responsibilities:
- Perform 35-45 spay and neuter surgeries daily in a high-volume, high-quality (HVHQ) setting.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and surgical excellence.
- Collaborate with a supportive medical team.
- Opportunity to mentor less experienced veterinarians if interested.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois (or able to obtain a license).
- Experience in high-volume surgery; robust surgical training is available.
Work Schedule:
- 4-day work week, Monday-Friday.
- Rotate one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

- A Mothers Suite
- A 400-square-foot breakroom is tailored to help our team relax during breaks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 (DOE).
- 36-40: hour work week
- Signing Bonus: $5,000 after the first six months.
- Full-Time Benefits Include:
- Medical and dental insurance.
- 401K retirement savings plan (Matching)
- Life and long-term disability insurance.
- 120 hours of paid time off per year.
- 30 hours of paid CE time off per year.
- Six paid holidays per year.
- $2,500 annual CE stipend.
- Uniform reimbursement allowance.
- Paid DEA license dues.

- Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) for federal student loans.
Veterinarian – Wellness, Dental, and Surgery (Full-Time or Part-Time)
(Wellness-only positions are also available if surgery isn’t your focus)
Responsibilities:
- Perform wellness exams, routine soft-tissue surgeries, and dental procedures.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions in companion animals.
- Deliver excellent client education to empower pet owners in caring for their pets.
- Opportunity to take on specialty surgeries based on experience and interest.
- Work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois (or able to obtain a license).
- 2-3 years of experience in wellness care, dentistry, and general surgery is preferred.
- Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate veterinary care.
Work Schedule:
- 4-day work week, Monday-Friday.
- Rotate one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
- No nights, no holidays, and no after-hour emergencies.
