DuPage County SNAP Resident Spay / Neuter Voucher Program
DuPage County Animal Services offers a Spay and Neuter Voucher to DuPage County residents who receive SNAP and/or Social Security Disability Insurance. Approved program participants will receive a voucher for one-time spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchips for their pets at no cost. To apply for a voucher, complete this Application.
Kankakee County
Kankakee County Animal Control 2025 Spay / Neuter Incentive Program
March 1 – May 31, 2025
- Coupons will be available for pick up by Kankakee County residents February 28th – March 28, 2025 at Kankakee County Animal Control.
- Valid Dates for use of Coupon March 1 – May 31, 2025.
- Coupon must be presented at the time of surgery, no exceptions!
- Value of the coupon for dogs is $40, and cats are $30. Limit 2 coupons per household. Pet owner is responsible for balance of the surgery expense and all other expenses incurred at the animal hospital.
- Owner of animal must pick up coupon in person at 134 Mooney Dr, Bourbonnais, IL during normal business hours.
- If your pet is not current on rabies & registration, it WILL BE REQUIRED at the time of surgery at the owner’s expense.
- If your pet has not been microchipped please be advised it is a County ordinance and needs to be done. Microchipping gives your pet a voice should it become lost or stolen.
- Owner must bring in proof of residency. (Illinois State ID and a current utility bill.)
- Owner must bring in proof of pet ownership.
- Medical records, bill of sale are examples of proof of ownership.
- Pictures may be accepted if they are in a past setting that includes pet and owner. Animal Control reserves the right to deny pictures as proof of ownership.
$20 Dog Spay / Neuter for Kankakee County Residents
Residents from Kankakee County receiving LINK, Unemployment, SSDI, or Seniors 62+ can take advantage of spay/neuter, microchip, rabies, and distemper vaccines for $20. (Added fee for rabies tag). Proper documentation of active benefits must be provided upon appointment visit.
Transport from KCAC to our clinic is provided. However, if the owner transports their dogs, we can accommodate other days.
