Paws for a Cause Vet Care is proud to partner with Heart of a Veteran (Have a Heart), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans heal and thrive through holistic care. Together, we recognize that the bond between veterans and their pets plays a vital role in emotional well-being, stability, and healing.
Through this partnership, we help ensure that veterans’ pets receive the care they need to stay healthy and by their side. Our collaborative efforts support access to pet food pantries, low-cost vaccines, and affordable spay and neuter services, reducing financial barriers that could otherwise put both pets and their families at risk.
We recently had the privilege of helping Marvin, a veteran, and his dog, Navy. Thanks to the Heart of a Veteran Paws of a Veteran program, the cost of Navy’s appointment was fully covered. Navy went home happy, healthy, and protected with flea and tick and heartworm prevention, ready to keep enjoying adventures by Marvin’s side.
